The Holbrook Lady Roadrunners dropped all three games they played last week, leaving them with a 3-9 regular season record and ranked 22nd in power points at the beginning of this week.
Last Tuesday Holbrook was shut out by rival Winslow in five innings, 12-0.
On Friday the Roadrunners traveled to Payson, where they played better, but came up short, 10-4. They held the lead in that game 3-1 through two innings, but Payson quickly regained control, outscoring the Birds 7-0 in the next two innings.
Playing in Chinle on Saturday, Holbrook came up one run short in a scoring barrage, falling 19-18 to the Lady Wildcats.
After playing a doubleheader region game with Blue Ridge on Monday in Lakeside, the Roadrunners will host Show Low on Friday. On Tuesday, April 18, they play host to a highly ranked Lady Lobo team from Snowflake.
With the season winding down, Holbrook needs to remain inside the top 24 in the rankings to have a chance to qualify for a state tournament game in two weeks.
