The Roadrunners met little resistance in their five-inning 10-0 shutout of rival Winslow last Tuesday afternoon.

Playing at home the Holbrook squad set the tone with four first inning runs, then pushed that advantage to 6-0 with a pair of runs in the second. A scoreless third frame moved the game to the fourth, where the Roadrunners matched their first inning with another four runs to get to the 10-run lead.

The Roadrunners shut down the Bulldogs in the top of the fifth, bringing them their 15th win of the season against just three losses. They are now 10-2 in regular season power point games, ranking them fourth in 3A prior to the Winslow game. They remain third in the East Region standings behind Payson and Snowflake, having lost their first meeting to each of those schools.

Holbrook collected 10 runs on 12 hits, made no errors and left 10 on base. Tristan Baldonado had a big game on the hill, pitching a no hitter, and at the plate, going 3 for 3 with a home run, five RBIs and scoring twice. Cade Maestas was 2 for 3 with an RBI and scored twice. Shane McGraw went 2 for 3 with an RBI. Jalen Nez was also 2 for 3. Frankie Ulibarri went 1 for 3. Gabe Gabaldon was 1 for 3 and scored three runs. Justin Perkins went 1 for 2 with an RBI and scored once.

Baldonado pitched the complete five-inning game with nine strikeouts and just two walks as he faced only two more than the minimum with 17 Bulldogs coming to the plate.
