April is Happy Holbrook Month and the city has several events lined up to promote smiling faces throughout the city.
The city is helping to promote the Battle of the Bands beginning on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. on April 1 at the Roxy Theater. The Almost Amazing Race will take place beginning at 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 8. Teams of four will start the race at Hunt Park. The cost is $5 per person with registration at city hall, during regular business hours, Monday through Friday.
The Holbrook Art Series will return at the BNSF Train Depot from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 21, featuring painter and potter Ann Anspach with the White Mountain Art Alliance and Petrified Forest’s Artist in Residence photographer Paul Nguyan from Massachussetts.
