Holbrook voters went to the polls on Tuesday, March 14, to choose three vacancies on the council.
Those in the running include incumbents Wade Carlisle, Earl Kester and Richard Peterson. Others vying for a seat include Armando Aguilera, Louis Baldanado, Paul Garcia and Frank Lucero. Votes were cast at the Holbrook City Hall, located at 465 First Avenue, with the polls open until 7 p.m. Results will be posted online at tribunenewsnow.com as they become available.
In order to be elected outright in the primary election, a candidate must receive 50 percent of the votes plus one. If no council candidates receive more than 50 percent of the votes, all five will advance to the general election. The general election will be held on Tuesday, May 16.
