The Lady Roadrunners and first year head coach Megan Graham are off to a good beginning. They opened the softball season on Feb. 22 with a 13-3 win in Flagstaff against Northland Prep. Holbrook followed that up going 2-1 at the 10th annual Krystin Diehl Tournament held in Maricopa Feb. 24-25. They earned wins over La Joya 12-9 and Page 13-11 then lost to Florence 7-1.
Holbrook fell to visiting Chinle on Wednesday of last week with a 3-8 loss to the Wildcats. They bounced back on Saturday to defeat Joseph City 14-5 in a home contest.
Holbrook will travel to Page on Saturday for a double-header contest against the Sand Devils. Following those two games they will be off until next Thursday when they join several other teams at the annual Gracie Lee Haught tournament held in Payson.
