Holbrook’s swim team, the Barracudas, is starting the season with a new name and plans for an exciting season. To qualify for the team, a child must be from 4 to 18 years of age and able to swim freestyle the length of the pool. Practice is held Monday through Friday, with swim meets on Saturdays. Depending on their ability, swimmers will be placed in one of three groups for practice times. Advanced swimmers are scheduled from 6:30 to 8 a.m.; intermediate, 8 to 9 a.m.; and beginners, 9 to 10 a.m. Signups will be held from 7 to 10 a.m. on Monday, June 6, at the Holbrook Swimming Pool.
