Northland Pioneer College celebrates its 42nd Commencement on Saturday, May 14, at the Show Low School District Auditorium, 500 W. Old Linden Road. Admission to the ceremony, which begins at 1 p.m., is restricted to individuals with reserved seat tickets. Doors to the auditorium open at noon. This year, 676 students have applied for associate degrees, certificates of applied science and certificates of proficiency. Participating in the Commencement ceremony will be 119 associate degree, 23 certificate of applied science and 23 certificate of proficiency recipients. Dr. Rufus Glasper, former chancellor of the Maricopa County Community Colleges, and currently president and CEO of the League for Innovation, is the guest speaker for this year’s ceremony.
