By Sam Conner The Winslow Lady Bulldogs defeated the Window Rock Lady Scouts 67-55 in the sectional tournament at Chinle on Tuesday. Winslow started very strong and led 19-8 after the first quarter. The margin was 35-25 at the half and 53-41 after three quarters. That lead held for the 67-55 victory for the Bulldogs. Danielle James had an awesome night for Winslow, leading all scorers with 34 points. Jenna Yazzie was also in double figures for Winslow with 13 points. Dominique Chee led Window Rock with 15 points, followed by Venessa James with 14. The win left Winslow with a record of 15-15 and advanced the Bulldogs to a game on Thursday against a very good Page Lady Sand Devil team that has beaten them twice this season. The Sand Devils are 24-5 for the season.
