The Joseph City School District presented Jack Miller with a Lifetime Wildcat Fan Award last week. Miller has been a dedicated supporter of the athletic programs in Joseph City for a number of years and continues to be a regular at most of the games. A 1948 graduate of Holbrook High School, he married Carole Brewer in 1950, and they made Joseph City their home. They raised all of their eight children in Joseph City, and 17 of their 38 grandchildren graduated from JCHS. Sports have always been a big part of their children and grandchildren’s lives. Win or lose, Jack and Carole have always been their biggest fans. They have traveled thousands of miles to away games and rarely miss a home game. Miller has always emphasized the importance of hard work, dependability and good sportsmanship. Miller is a true Wildcat fan through and through. His support of Joseph City schools includes attending games, concerts, and helping with fundraisers and blood drives, even when his immediate family members are not participating.
