Obit Wood, Janice Janice Bernice Wood, 67, passed away on Friday, Dec. 11, 2015, at her home in Holbrook with her family by her side. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 19, at 915 W. Hopi Drive. She was born Dec. 24, 1947, in Holbrook to Burl and Wanda Robinson. Janice married Gerald K. Wood on June 12, 1965. She worked various jobs in Holbrook, and was a longtime member of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 37. Janice enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She really enjoyed singing. She was kind and loving, and she will be greatly missed. Survivors include her husband, Gerald; three sons Kenneth, Michael and James, all of Holbrook; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Chester, Marvin and Wesley Robinson, all of Holbrook; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Mary Faye and her brother Burl. Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow was in charge of the arrangements.
