The Native American Christian Academy Warriors of Sun Valley used their home court advantage last week to defeat the St. Anthony Eagles in a two-game volleyball match. It wasn’t easy for the Warriors as they had a bit of the jitters playing in front of the home crowd. They fell behind the Eagles early in the first game, but timely aces and getting needed side-outs resulted in a 25-23 victory. Finally shaking nervousness, Heavyn Halwood put the team on his back and ended the second game 25-23. The Warrior varsity moved to 3-0 on the season under the guidance of Coach Michael Welch.
