Holbrook and Winslow McDonald’s restaurants are hosting Hiring Day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 18, seeking to hire new employees. The new job openings will include both full-time and part-time crew and manager positions. Statewide, Arizona McDonald’s restaurants will be hiring 2,000 employees as part of the event. Interested candidates are encouraged to stop by their neighborhood restaurant for an interview. They can also apply at their local restaurant or online at www.mylocalmcds.com. “We have immediate openings not just for the holiday season, but jobs that can also turn into rewarding careers,” said Abe Martinez Jr., Holbrook and Winslow McDonald’s owner. “This is an excellent opportunity to earn extra money (earn while you learn), have access to great benefits and competitive wages, enjoy a flexible work schedule and to work with a great group of exciting people.” McDonald’s crew and managers are eligible for benefits including Archways to Opportunity, which helps employees learn English-language skills, obtain a high school diploma, and move on to an associate’s or bachelor’s degree. McDonald’s believes that education is the true game-changer, and Archways to Opportunities provides tuition assistance to employees working at least 30 hours a week.
