Navajo County employees (left to right) Mary Claire, Angela Baldonado and Ernie Neff were recognized during Tuesday’s Board of Supervisors meeting for their efforts to assist the victims of a tragic vehicle accident that took the lives of two young New York women and injured two more. The crash occurred Aug. 10 in front of the Navajo County Governmental Complex on Highway 77 in Holbrook. According to Baldonado, the father of one of the deceased victims will be coming to Holbrook next month to see where the accident occurred, and to visit with those who provided help and compassion to his daughter and her friends.
