Dogs ready for adoption at the Holbrook Animal Shelter include (left to right) Dozer, a male Pit. He had to be given up by his family because he was chasing chickens and the landlord wouldn’t let them keep him. He’s got beautiful markings and seems very sweet. He’s very frightened to be at the shelter. Can you give him a home? Tila is female, American Bulldog/Boxer, and is approximately one year old. She is ready for a new home. She is a bundle of energy and joy, and was surrendered by her previous owner, who would like to see her in a good home. She’s a loyal girl who would make a great watchdog for your family, though she is a little too exuberant for small kids. The fee is $75 for female dogs and $70 for male dogs, which includes spay or neuter, rabies vaccination and a city license. During May, all dog adoptions will include a free three-month supply of flea and tick treatment. Stop by the shelter at 105 Airport Road today to meet your new best friend.
