City workers have begun work on the splash pad behind the City of Holbrook offices on First Avenue. The pad itself will be 50’x60’, while the remainder of the park will be filled with features that can be used year-round, including two ramadas, a batting cage, a bocce ball area and a horseshoe pit. The containers pictured here will be put underground, and the building under construction will house restrooms, vending machines and the controls for the water features.
