Just four Wildcats had wrestlers competed in the Division IV Section One Tournament last Saturday, but three of them advanced to the Division IV State Wrestling Meet, which will be held on Thursday and Friday, Feb. 12 and 13, in Prescott Valley.
Wryder Richards placed first in the sectional meet for Joseph City, posting a 3-0 record in the 126-lb. division. Trey Tuckfield finished fourth at 113 lbs. to advance. Tyler Gardner placed fourth in the 132-lb. division with a 1-2 record and will also be wrestling at the state meet.
