Suicide Prevention Week will be observed Sept. 6-13, and Community Counseling Centers Inc. has scheduled several events in conjunction with it in Navajo County. Walks for suicide prevention awareness will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6, at Vargas Park in Winslow and Pioneer Park in Snowflake, and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13, at Show Low High School. CCC will also have a booth at the Navajo County Fair in Holbrook, which opens Sept. 10.
