The Holbrook Bullets swim team, under the direction of Coach Christopher Olthouse, brought home a number of medals from the Grand Canyon State Games swimming competition held Aug. 2 at the Mona Plummer Aquatic Center at Arizona State University in Tempe. The event was an all-state invitational for ages 6-18 and adults. Those participating included recreational athletes and registered US/masters swim team members. A total of 350 kids participated in the event, and the Bullets were the only team representing the Northeastern Arizona Swim League.
