By Sam Conner The Winslow Lady Bulldogs defeated the Lady Scouts in Window Rock Tuesday night. The win improved Winslow’s record to 19-4 for the season. The surprisingly easy Winslow win dropped the Lady Scouts to 19-6 for the season. The Bulldogs led 18-15 at the end of the first quarter, and used a huge second quarter and a tight defense to build a commanding 37-17 halftime lead. The margin had grown to 56-33 by the end of the third quarter. Halle Hayes led all scorers with 16 points for the Bulldogs, followed by Shandiin Armao with 15 points; Jacey Sangster, 13 points; and Kaelyn Bitsoi and Tannon Tom, 10 each. Caleigh Curley led Window Rock with 9 points and Naomi Klah had 8 for the Lady Scouts.
