Photo by Connie RichardsThe drainage ditch behind Blue Sage Street in Holbrook became a health hazard last week when a sewer blockage caused raw sewage to come out behind residences along that road. According to resident Connie Richards, the sewage was there for more than a week before city employees were able to resolve the problem. When Richards gained no response from city officials to the problem, she reached out to county and state representatives. When asked regarding the matter City Manager Ted Soltis stated employees were addressing the issue that the blockage was finally discovered last Thursday on Mission Lane and the ditch cleaned out and sanitized.
