Photo by Richard LarsonWinslow celebrated the unveiling of a new bronze statue in the likeness of Glenn Frey at the Standin’ on the Corner Park Sept. 24. The statue was revealed before a crowd of about two hundred people by KSLX radio host Mark Devine (center). KSLX covered most of the cost of making of the statue, but Tom McCauley (to the left of Devine) was instrumental in adding this tribute of the Eagle’s founder and co-writer of the town’s theme song, Take It Easy.
