Photo courtesy of Cindy JacquezTourist season is slower than usual but with gas prices dropping and cooler weather, the fall may change that. Here visitors from Barcelona, Spain, are taking a tour of Route 66, which wouldn’t be complete without a stop at the famous Jack Rabbit Trading Post just west of Joseph City. The shop is owned and operated by Tony and Cindy Jacquez and has been in Cindy’s family for generations. Even if you’re local, you’ll want to swing by this icon of the Mother Road for some terrific clothing and gift ideas, and of course a photo with Mr. Rabbit.
