Sharlene and Paul Hatch are the newest members of the Taylor/Shumway Heritage Foundation Board of Directors. Paul, a well-known poet and story teller, will be telling “Taylor Tall Tales” at the Scrumptious Dessert Social scheduled at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22, at the Taylor Stake Center, located at 301 W. Willow. The suggested donation is $25 for couples and $10 for singles, but the society will gladly accept more or less depending on your pocketbook. Please bring a pie in a disposable pan and what is not eaten will be auctioned, with all proceeds going to upkeep of the six historic sites, tours and to sponsor the hayride program.
