Mariann Baum Bradbury, 55, passed away from an ongoing battle with cancer on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011, surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held at 11 o’clock this morning (Oct. 5) at the Edgemont 21st Ward Chapel, located at 2900 N. Timpview Drive in Provo, Utah. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services. Interment will be at East Lawn Memorial Hills.
Mariann was born on Sept. 28, 1956.
She lived life to the fullest. She loved and served her family and friends, constantly placing their needs before her own.
Mariann easily distinguished herself at work, at church, and in the hospital with her positive attitude and uplifting personality. Family, friends, neighbors, ward members, coworkers, doctors and nurses loved her and she loved them back. She had a gift to see the very best in people and make everyone around her feel special. She loved and cared for others deeply.
Mariann loved our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, and served them honorably, not only in her various ward callings, but also in her everyday doings and interactions with others.
Even in the months of her greatest personal need, she continued to comfort others and bring them happiness. Not only did she bring loving happiness to the home, but to the hospital as well. She always shared her beautiful contagious smile and infectious, cheerful laughter.
The most important thing in Mariann’s life were her children and her grandchildren.
Survivors include her four children, Calle (Derel) DeWitt, Jenn Bradbury, Taft Bradbury and Halee (Andrew) Penrod; three grandchildren, Max (8), Addie (5) and Savannah (3); her brothers and sister, Randy (Robyn) Baum, Russ (Joyce) Baum, Ed (Renae) Baum, Bob (Jennifer) Baum and Susan (Rich) Norman; and 23 nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Marie Memmot Brewer; her stepfather, Reece Brewer; her nephew, Chad Baum; and her niece, Carissa Hall.
Berg Mortuary of Provo was in charge of the arrangements.
