The 2011 Service Academies Conference will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday, April 2, at Camelback High School, located at 4612 N. 28th St. in Phoenix. All Arizona high school students and their parents are welcome to attend the free event. U.S. Senator Jon Kyl and Congressman Ben Quayle will host the conference, which provides an opportunity for high school students and their parents to meet with representatives of the Air Force, Coast Guard, Merchant Marine, Military, and Naval academies, who will explain the free quality college education and career opportunities that each school offers. Congressional staff will also be present to explain the required congressional application and nomination process.
