The Winslow Arts Council held its third annual Art Sweet Art Feb. 11 at the historic Winslow Hubbell Trading Post. The event featured a variety of styles and genres of gallery type displays of local artists’ work. The event brought 120 to 150 guests who enjoyed the delicious array of foods and participated in the fund-raiser auction. The auction included paintings, sculptures, jewelry, quilts, woodwork, photography and pottery, as well as a number of goods and services from throughout the community. The event also included live music performed throughout the evening by local musicians and artists. Proceeds from the event are used by the Winslow Arts Council to fund other community arts events throughout the year. [slideshow]
