The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Area 3 during the period of Oct. 4-10. Area 3 includes Heber, Overgaard, Aripine, Chevelon Retreat, Chevelon Acres, Antelope Valley, Clay Springs and Pinedale. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt.
At 9:15 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 4, Alejandro Altamirano, 40, of El Mirage was arrested for possession of a weapon by a prohibited possessor, failure to admit to carrying a deadly weapon, driving on a suspended/revoked/canceled license and criminal speeding following a traffic stop on State Route 260 at milepost 308 in Heber. Altamirano was booked into the Navajo County Jail.
At 11:47. p.m. on Friday, Oct. 9, Nathan Sellers, 43, of Surprise was cited and released for disorderly conduct and assault after deputies were dispatched to the 2700 block of State Route 260 in Overgaard for a report of a disorderly subject.
