The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Area 4 during the period of Oct. 4-10. Area 4 covers approximately 1,800 square miles, and encompasses the unincorporated areas of Snowflake/Taylor, Shumway, Cedar Hills, White Mountain Lake and Show Low Pines. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by the officers are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt.
At 11:05 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 4, Fernando Macias, 42, of Linden was cited and released for driving on a suspended license following a traffic stop on Main Street in Snowflake.
At 1:13 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 9, Darlene Brenner, 45, of Snowflake was arrested for shoplifting after deputies made contact with Brenner in the Snowflake area. Brenner was booked into the Navajo County Jail.
