The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Area 3 during the period of Aug. 16-22. Area 3 includes Heber, Overgaard, Aripine, Chevelon Retreat, Chevelon Acres, Antelope Valley, Clay Springs and Pinedale. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt.
At 5:33 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 16, Mark Ream, 26, of Overgaard, was cited and released for DUI following a traffic stop on State Route 260 at milepost 305 in the Heber area.
At 12:34 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 18, Alex Connor, 32, of Overgaard was arrested for disorderly conduct after deputies were dispatched to the 2900 block of Skylark Drive in Overgaard for a report of a disorderly subject. Connor was booked into the Navajo County Jail.
At 11:54 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 19, Douglas Major, 49, of White Mountain Lake was arrested for disorderly conduct involving a weapon after deputies were dispatched to the 2000 block of Lone Mountain Road in Heber for a report of a disorderly subject. Major was booked into the county jail.
At 12:11 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 20, Denise Vogt, 50, of Overgaard was cited and released for theft after deputies were dispatched to the 1800 block of State Route 260 in Heber for a report of a theft.
At 10:37 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 22, James Baine, 40, of Heber was arrested for criminal damage and assault/domestic violence after deputies were dispatched to the 1900 block of Rim View Lane in Heber for a report of an assault. Baine was booked into the county jail.
