The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Area 3 during the period of March 1-7. Area 3 includes Heber, Overgaard, Aripine, Chevelon Retreat, Chevelon Acres, Antelope Valley, Clay Springs and Pinedale. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt.
At 9:44 a.m. on Monday, March 2, Shuniya Alexander, 20, of Surprise, was cited and released for criminal speeding following a traffic stop on State Route 260 at milepost 308 in the Heber area.
At 6:21 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, David Riegle, 60, of Overgaard, was arrested for theft, disorderly conduct and assault after deputies made contact with Riegle in the Overgaard area. Riegle was booked into the Navajo County Jail.
At 7:20 p.m. on Friday, March 6, Dalten Damas, 32, of Show Low, was arrested for failure to appear following a traffic stop on State Route 260 at Parkway Street in Heber. Damas was booked into the county jail.
