Mike was born June 8, 1965, to Buck and Elayne Kirby. Michael grew up in Winslow. As a child he loved doing science experiments, being outdoors, playing chess and any type of sports. Mike loved talking about all his teams, showing off all his trophies and bragging about all the kid’s accomplishments.

In the fall of 1984 Mike met and fell in love with Lucinda Charley when they were both students at NPC in Winslow. Mike and Lucinda were inseparable right from the start and spent the next 41 ½ years together, raising three boys and one girl. His family was his whole world.

Michael always said his biggest and best achievements were his kids. He would brag about what good people they were all grown up to be, their accomplishments and of course about his grandchildren.
