One collision was investigated by Holbrook police officers during the period of Dec. 10-30, according to dispatcher reports.
At approximately 4:09 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 16, a two-vehicle, non-injury collision occurred at the intersection of 2nd Street and East Florida Street. The vehicles involved were a 2025 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Wilhelmina Francis, 51, of Houck, and a 2022 Kia Carnival driven by Diane Mitchell, 43, of Holbrook. According to the report, Mitchell was driving through the intersection when the rear side of her vehicle was struck by Francis who had failed to yield. Francis was cited for failure to yield for a right-of-way at a stop sign.
