The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Area 3 during the period of Nov. 16-22. Area 3 includes Heber, Overgaard, Aripine, Chevelon Retreat, Chevelon Acres, Antelope Valley, Clay Springs and Pinedale. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt.
At 4:34 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20, Brian King, 60, of Overgaard, was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after deputies were dispatched to the 2800 block of Homestead Drive in Overgaard for a report of a weapons offense. King was booked into the county jail.
At 7:25 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 21, Christopher Kothe, 36, of Happy Jack, was cited and released for DUI following a traffic stop on the 1900 block of State Route 260 in Heber.
