The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Area 3 during the period of Sept. 21-27. Area 3 includes Heber, Overgaard, Aripine, Chevelon Retreat, Chevelon Acres, Antelope Valley, Clay Springs and Pinedale. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt.
At 7:35 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 22, Rene Villalobos Herrera, 30, of Show Low, was arrested for criminal speeding, an open container violation and failure to appear after deputies were dispatched to the 2000 block of State Route 260 in Overgaard for a report of trespassing. Herrera was booked into the Navajo County Jail.
At 8:10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 23, Patric Kimrough, 64, of Tempe, was cited and released for criminal speeding following a traffic stop on State Route 260 at milepost 307 in Heber.
At 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 24, Nico Nappo, 24, of Mesa, was cited and released for two counts of driving on a suspended/revoked/canceled license following a traffic stop on the 2800 block of State Route 260 in Overgaard.
At 3:45 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27, Christaphor Lacanski, 55, of Overgaard, was arrested for DUI with a blood alcohol content of .10% or more and extreme DUI following a traffic stop on the 2900 block of State Route 260 in Overgaard. Lacanski was booked into the county jail.
