Tancy Mae Coughlin, 63, passed away peacefully on Aug. 13, 2025. Tancy was born on Dec. 13, 1961, in Winslow, to Ella Mae Renfro and Charles Bryson.
Tancy worked for Northern Arizona Council of Governments, where she helped local residents obtain assistance from various government and non-profit agencies.
Tancy was a member of Zion Baptist Church where she accepted God and did His work. In the year 2000, she was diagnosed with Lupus. Although, her health declined it never shaped the person she was. She never wavered from her commitment to God and His work. She was a blessing to all that knew her.
Tancy was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Edward Joseph Coughlin Sr.; father, Charles Bryson; and grandparents, Luola and L.H. Renfro.
Tancy is survived by her children, Edward Joseph Coughlin Jr. and Trishia Marie Coughlin; granddaughter, Anayeli Arvayo; mother, Ella Mae Renfro; brother, Darrell Bryson; sister, Valerie Stingley; sister-in-law, Mary K VanHemert (John); and a host of family and friends.
A Going Home service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6, at the First Baptist Church, 411 N Warren Ave, Winslow. Followed by a reception at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
