Patricia Yolanda Chavez, 73, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 8, 1952, in Winslow. During her life she was a professional cosmetologist for over 35 years. She was blessed by her talent and experience that touched family and friends.
Patricia had an extraordinary gift for nurturing deep lasting relationships with those around her. Patricia’s home was always open serving as a gathering place for family and friends. As a mother of four, grandmother of three and great-grandmother of four Patricia instilled her strong values and religious belief in her family. Patricia’s home was a haven of prayers and support, not just for her children, but for countless others in need of guidance and comfort.
Patricia is survived by her children, Ben (Rita), Anna (Trini), Christina (Miguel) and Krystal; brother, John (Frances); and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ysidro and Amada Chavez, and siblings.
Holy Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be Celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 25, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Inurnment to follow at Desert View Cemetery.
