The Winslow Police Department received 15 reports of theft during the period of June 30 – July 6, according to dispatcher reports. Persons who were cited, charged, or arrested by WPD officers in connection with these incidents are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt.

At 12:14 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, an employee of Walmart, located at 700 Mike’s Pike St., reported the theft of alcohol valued at $4.96.

At 10:02 a.m. on Friday, June 27, a person reported the theft of tools and other items from a home on the 500 block of North Kinsley Avenue valued at $1,000.

At 3:55 p.m. on Monday, June 30, an employee of Walmart reported a theft.

At 7:09 p.m. on Monday, a person reported a theft of a helmet, safety vest and battery pack from a bicycle parked at Little Colorado Medical Center, located at 1501 N. Williamson Ave. Phillip Johnson, 37, was arrested for theft in connection with the incident.

At 1:23 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1, an employee of Circle K, located at 317 N. Williamson Ave., reported a theft. Roderick Gonnie, 46, and Germaine Begay, 39, were both arrested for shoplifting in connection with the incident.

At 7:14 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, an employee of Walmart reported a theft. Sequoia Henry, 28, was arrested for shoplifting in connection with the incident.

At 3:05 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, an employee of Walmart reported a theft. Keith John, 31, was arrested for shoplifting in connection with the incident.

At 12:57 p.m. on Friday, July 4, an employee of Flatbed Ford Café, located at 214 N. Kinsley Ave., reported a theft of services valued at $20.59.

At 9:16 p.m. on Friday an employee of Circle K reported a theft of alcohol valued at $12.99.

At 11:45 p.m. on Friday an employee of Circle K reported the theft of beer valued at $2.49.

At 8:23 p.m. on Saturday, July 5, an employee of Circle K reported a theft of alcohol valued at $4.70.

At 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, an employee of Walmart reported a theft. Valentina Hannah, 42, was arrested for shoplifting in connection with the incident.

At 7:07 p.m. on Sunday, July 6, an employee of Denny’s, located at 400 Transcon Lane, reported a theft of services valued at $122.39.

At 7:46 p.m. on Sunday, an employee of Walmart reported a theft of three bottles of alcohol valued at $36.87.

At 8:13 p.m. on Sunday, a person reported the theft of a vehicle parked at Clarion Pointe Hotel, located at 1701 N. Park Drive.
