On Jan. 20, Holbrook local authors Bill Parker and Linda Parker held a book signing for their newly published book, Holbrook Past and Present at the former Winner’s Circle in Holbrook, a space under new ownership and being repurposed for community gatherings.
Together, the couple has spent many years researching Holbrook’s history and finding photographs to be used in the book, many of which were provided by other Holbrook residents. The book signing provided people with the opportunity to have their book signed by the authors, and to talk with them about Holbrook’s history. It was a great event, and those attending learned a great deal about the town’s history. People who were not able to attend the book signing, but would still like to purchase the book, it is available on amazon.com.
