One collision was investigated by Snowflake-Taylor police officers during the period of May 29 – June 4, according to dispatcher reports.
At 4:32 p.m. on Monday, June 3, a two vehicle, non-injury collision occurred on West Papermill Road and North Main Street. The vehicles involved were a white 2014 Ford F-150 driven by Dorene Ely, 61, of Snowflake, and a white 2003 Ford F-250 driven by Jessie Scott, 43, of Peoria. According to the report, Ely was stopped at the red light on Papermill Road in the left lane waiting to turn left onto Main Street with Scott stopped behind Ely. When the light turned green, Scott moved forward and struck Ely from behind. Scott was cited for failure to maintain to avoid a collision.
