One collision was investigated by Holbrook police officers during the period of May 8-14, according to dispatcher reports.
At 12:56 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, a single vehicle, non-injury collision occurred on West Buffalo Street. The vehicle involved was a black 1988 Ford truck driven by Jimmy Big Eagle, 56, of Holbrook. According to the report, Big Eagle was exiting a private drive and while turning onto West Buffalo Street he struck a 15 mph school zone sign, causing damage to the sign and the vehicle. The officer determined there was an outstanding warrant for Big Eagle and he was booked into the Navajo County Jail.
