The Wildcats had just two wrestlers qualify through sectionals for the Division IV state meet held over the weekend.
Cory McLaws competed in the 113-pound division, where he went 2-2 in four matches. He dropped a one-point decision in his first round then came back with two wins in the consolation bracket before falling to Trent Nelson from Morenci in his final match.
Tytan Penrod competed in the 165-pound class, going 0-2 in his two state matches. He fell to Oren Allsup from Willcox in the first round, then was pinned by Ismael Gallego from Hayden in the second round.
