The following incidents were among the 188 handled by the Snowflake-Taylor Police Department (STPD) during the period of Jan. 17-23. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by STPD officers are accused of committing a civil violation or of criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt.
At 11:53 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 18, the owners of Smith Brothers Automotive, located at 1215 W. Snowflake Blvd., reported the theft of a generator and batteries.
At 2:12 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 21, Juan Munoz, 21, of Lakeside, was cited and released for DUI following a traffic stop on Main Street in Taylor after an officer observed the white Chevy truck driven by Munoz run a red light and swerving across the center line.
