Don Ramsey passed away Jan. 14, 2024. He was born Aug. 4, 1938, in McNary, to Rob and Edna Ramsey.
He married for eternity the love of his life, Judy Rogers, in the Manti Utah temple, on July 23, 1956. He worked hard and worked many jobs throughout his life, finally retiring for good at the age of 77.
Don joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at the age of 14. He served in various callings in the church throughout his lifetime including ward and stake clerk, executive secretary, athletic director, Sunday school teacher and bishop.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Rob and Edna Ramsey; sister, Darlene Wilkinson; and great-granddaughter, Kenlee Perkes.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Judy; sons, Rion (Karen), Scott (Kendra), Eric (Julie) and Rob (Janette); and daughter, Becky Schreiber; 20 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., on Friday, Jan. 19, at Owens Livingston Mortuary, located at 84 E 19th S., in Snowflake. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 20. At the Main Street Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 48 N. Main St., in Snowflake, with additional viewing one-hour prior.
Owens Livingston Mortuary of Snowflake handled the arrangements.
