The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Area 3 during the period of Nov. 12-18. Area 3 includes Heber, Overgaard, Aripine, Chevelon Retreat, Chevelon Acres, Antelope Valley, Clay Springs and Pinedale. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt. At 8:08 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8, Jansen Campbell, 29, of Heber, was arrested for failure to appear after deputies made contact with Campbell in the 5700 block of Deer Run Road in Heber. Campbell was booked into the Navajo County Jail. At 11:59 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 13, Derrick Goode, 39, of Nazlini, was arrested for assault after deputies were dispatched to State Route 260 at milepost 295 in the Heber area for a report of assault. Goode was booked into the Navajo County Jail. At 4:26 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 15, Nathan Austin, 52, of Snowflake, was arrested for failure to appear following a traffic stop on State Route 260 at Grey Squirrel Trail in Heber. Austin was booked into the county jail. At 8:07 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 16, John Bacon, 53, of Overgaard, was arrested for disorderly conduct and trespassing after deputies responded to the 3200 block of Bigler Road in Heber for a report of a trespasser. Bacon was booked into the county jail. At 9:49 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 17, Ricky Brewer Jr., 38, of Overgaard, was arrested for failure to appear after deputies made contact with Brewer in the Heber area. Brewer was booked into the county jail. At 4:54 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18, Kevin Drues, 52, of Laveen, was arrested for violation of probation following a traffic stop on State Route 260 at Church Lane in Overgaard. Drues was booked into the county jail.
