The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Areas 1 and 2 during the period of Nov. 12-18. Areas 1 and 2 include Joseph City, Woodruff, Sun Valley, Goodwater, Adamana, unincorporated areas of Winslow and Holbrook, and parts of the Navajo and Hopi reservations that are located within the boundaries of Navajo County. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt. At 4:43 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 12, Richard Davis, 36, of Joseph City, was arrested for assault/domestic violence after deputies were dispatched to the 4500 block of 4th North Avenue in Joseph City regarding a 911 hang up. After an investigation was conducted, Davis was booked into the Navajo County Jail. At 10:39 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 13, Dean Wallace, 60, of Casa Grande, was arrested for violation of parole after deputies were dispatched to Sun Valley Road in Sun Valley for a report of a suspicious person. Wallace was booked into the county jail. At 6:34 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 14, Tommy Ortiz, 41, of Phoenix, was cited and released for criminal speeding following a traffic stop on State Route 377 at milepost 28 in Holbrook. At 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday Ryan Smith, 30, of Holbrook, was arrested for destruction of a public jail after deputies were dispatched to the county jail for a report of an inmate destroying property. Smith was arrested while incarcerated at the county jail. At 8:21 p.m. on Tuesday, Randilena Kee, 23, of Flagstaff, was arrested for failure to appear following a traffic stop on Central Street and Front Street in Winslow. Kee was booked into the county jail. At 2:25 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 17, Gregory Chee, 34, of Winslow, was arrested for assault and disorderly conduct after deputies responded to the 4500 block of Main Street in Joseph City in reference to an assault. Chee was booked into the county jail. At 3 p.m. on Friday, Lester Morgan Jr., 43, of Taylor, was arrested for destruction of a public jail after deputies were dispatched to the Navajo County Jail for a report of an inmate destroying jail property. Morgan was arrested for that charge while incarcerated at the county jail.
