One collision was investigated by Holbrook police officers during the period of Oct. 18-24, according to dispatcher reports. At 6:07 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18, a two vehicle, non-injury collision occurred on Navajo Blvd. and Florida Street. The vehicles involved were a blue 2014 Ram 1500 truck driven by Dena Eisele, 37, of Holbrook and a gray 2004 Ford Focus driven by Breyanna Gillespie, 20, of Holbrook. According to the report, Eisele was traveling north on Navajo and was in the left hand turn lane behind Gillespie. When the light turned green, Eisele pulled forward and rear-ended Gillespie who was yielding to a southbound vehicle waiting to turn left. Eisele was cited for following too closely.
