The flags were presented in the shape of the Twin Towers, with a tribute to the Stonycreek Township plane crash in Pennsylvania. The memorial also honors first responders who died due to illnesses received as a result of responding to the disaster and stands as a symbol of unity and resilience. This display was orchestrated by Ken Evans and a team of volunteers.
