Holbrook’s boys soccer team earned their first win of the season on Saturday with a strong performance over visiting Page, resulting in an 11-3 mercy rule win. On Wednesday they fell to visiting St. Johns by a final of 5-10. The team’s regular season record is now 1-2. This week they will host Snowflake on Wednesday as their only action for the week. Next Tuesday they will travel to face St. Michael, then host Northland Prep on Thursday.
The Lady Roadrunners dropped their only game played last week, although the game was close. Playing in Page on Saturday they fell 1-4 to the Sand Devils. After hosting Northland Prep on Monday this week, they will play in the Chino Cup this weekend. Holbrook will face Chino Valley, and Snowflake on Friday, then take on Page and Blue Ridge on Saturday. Next Tuesday they will play at St. Johns. The Lady Birds are still searching for their first win of the season.
