The Cherry Bombs are a group of five women trying to make a positive difference in their communities. In June they did their annual back-to-school supply drive with the help of local businesses in Winslow and Holbrook as collection sites including in Holbrook, Esmeralda’s Bella Vida Salon & Spa, Puff N’ Stuff Plus, Roxy Theater, Studio 66 Holbrook and What’s Old is New Again. In Winslow, Denny’s, Rent-A-Center, Buddy’s Home Furnishings, Tom’s Tavern on Route 66, A Stylistic Approach Salon, Little Colorado Medical Center, Falcon Family Restaurant, 3 C’s Autobody and Snap Fitness. With the help of these businesses and the communities, the Cherry Bombs were able to distribute approximately 140 backpacks with school supplies to the schools in Holbrook, Joseph City, and Winslow. During the weekend of Aug. 12, Cherry Bombs Khloe Rosè and Miss Ruby Wild, along with their loved ones packed all the backpacks to be delivered. On Aug. 15, Khloe Rosè, Miss Ruby Wild, Jillian Angel, Ivey Rose and Sapphire Rose delivered the backpacks to all the schools in Winslow, Joseph City, and Holbrook.
