Two collisions were investigated by Holbrook police officers during the period of July 4-11, according to dispatcher reports. At approximately 11:54 p.m. on Sunday, July 9, a three vehicle, non-injury hit and run collision occurred at OK RV, located at 1576 Roadrunner Road. The vehicles involved were an RV, a golf cart and an unknown vehicle. According to the report, an unknown vehicle had struck the RV, which sustained damages to the fiberglass on the passenger side and the golf cart also sustained damages. On either late night on Sunday, July 9, or early morning on Monday, July 10, a two vehicle, non-injury hit and run collision occurred in the 800 block of Third Avenue. The vehicles involved were a blue 2019 Hyundai Accent sedan owned by Evangaline Maize, 66, of Holbrook and an unknown vehicle. According to the report, the Hyundai was parked along the street when another vehicle appeared to have driven past too close, taking off the side-view mirror.
